Who in the world thought he was alive all these years? He died at age 99.
He was defeated twice by Joe Lewis in the 1930's. Hitler was pissed that his aryan hero was pounded by a negro.

Max KO Joe in June 19, 1936, Joe was unbeaten until that bout, That's what made Max famous around the world. Joe's rematch totally destroyed Max in the first round.
