Japanese Fall Festival

Last weekend was the festival at the Japanese Gardens with the sister city. I took a lot of photos. You can see them on my flickr page .... HERE ... I have some more to add tomorrow.

Looks like the Marmot and I missed each other ... there was the biggest crowd I have ever seen there.

Better fix the header on this post; it's "Japanese". Don't want to upset 417analretentivespellcheckerperson...

I was there too, but only for a short time. I was able to participate last year in the Iaito and the martial arts demonstrations. But an injury prevented such this year. I really like the photo of the mottled pink flower. The garden is very pretty, especially at night.

I do hope you were clothed.

I was ... and the world thanks me ...

Although, the ponds would be perfect for skinny dipping. But like the Marmot points out, the Coi are so big that I might be in fear for tiny little worms in the water ...

Oh, yes ... the pink flower was in Close Park ... next door to the Japanese Gardens (turn right as you come in the entrance) ..

I do like flowers .. they are all about beauty and sex ... just my sort of interest...

Did I ever tell you I had lunch with Claudia Schiffer once, and sat next to Cassandra Pederson (Elvira) on an airplane ?

Just be sure not to objectify the delicate flower. You might offend someone's delicate sensibilities.

As for Elvira? Oomboppa, Mow, mow.

I took the same picture. It really is a great place. I hope to get out there again when there are fewer people ... because we Marmots are kinda surly that way.
