Pi Day
I almost forgot. Yesterday was Pi Day (3/14). Actually Pi is 3.14159265358979323…) unless you are a Bible believer and think that the Bible provides you with truth about science, in which case Pi is equal to 3.0 exactly.
Fundamentalists may just be goofy people, but I don't want to sit under a balcony designed by one in a church.
Somehow or another ... gawd got another one wrong ... but look at it this way... an Intelligent Designer REALLY WOULD have made Pi equal to 3.0 exactly.
Come to think of it, I was awake at 1.41.59 ----

I grew up in a very conservative church, but have never heard of the Pi conspircy buisness. What is that all about?
Aha ... and a little fishy comes up to nibble on my worm. I admit I would be more fun if it were JackeM or LarryL ... but here it are:
II Chronicles 4:2
"Also he made a molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in compass, and five cubits the height thereof; and a line of thirty
cubits did compass it round about."
And I might add ... even the Hebrews, who were so ignorant of science that they had to import the Persians to build their most important building, the Temple of Solomom, could have probably told the difference between 30 cubits (about 18 inches) and 31.4 cubits.
A string would have done it.
One of dozens of examples of science in the Bible that is just flat wrong ... and even JackeM couldn't spin her way out of it.
Amazing for a book that they say every jot and tittle is the word of gawd. They seem to have an astoundingly ignorant gawd.
The fundamentalist bible is like saying that all swans are white. Find one black swan and the whole premise goes down the scupper.
