On a somewhat related note, thanks for the comment @ Evolgen. Funny!
RPM's done some really great stuff there--I've learned a lot. I'm hoping he's not too disgusted with recent nonsense, and does get back to blogging some raw science soon enough.

Agreed ... we biologists have continued to make the mistake of ignoring the cretinists for about 25 years (and left it to people like the physicists to take them on), but now it has reached the point of insanity. These people hate any knowledge that doesn't fit their own prior determinination of what the universe is like.
Remember the final words of Nobel Laureat Richard Fynman in his appendix to the Shuttle Challenger report: "You cannot fool Mother Nature."
